Description
Nano HP™
Headwall’s original Nano-Hyperspec® took the remote-sensing community by storm, becoming the best-selling system of its kind. The next generation Nano HP™ features improved spatial resolution, as well as a great number of spectral bands in an exceptionally small, light and power-efficient form factor.
The new and improved Nano HP can be purchased as a payload for integration onto compatible UAVS, and also as part of integrated “turnkey” systems that include the drone. These include the DJI Matrice 300 RTK, DJI Matrice 600 Pro, as well as the FreeFly Alta X.
Optional sensors and accessories such as LIDAR and thermal-images can be incorporated into payloads suitable for your needs.
Portable and Robust
The Nano HP™ is a completely integrated hyperspectral sensor designed for the VNIR (400 – 1000nm) spectral range . It comes with a high-performance GPS/IMU and enables Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) to be added as an integral module, so that the Nano HP with LIDAR is actually lighter and smaller than a similarly equipped original Nano- Hyperspec!
For each hyperspectral sensor, Headwall uses its own all-original diffraction gratings for outstanding optimal performance. Benefits include high signal-to-noise and low stray light in a small-form-factor instrument with no moving parts. This means a high degree of robustness and environmental stability – key requirements of any airborne solution.
Headwall’s hyperspectral sensors all use a concentric imager design that features aberration correction technology. Outstanding spatial and spectral resolution, a wide field of view, and high SNR are benefits that set Headwall apart in the field or airborne hyperspectral imaging. A wide field of view with aberration correction means that swath widths are maximised and flight time is minimised. By integrating everything in one package, Headwall’s airborne solution helps save battery life allowing for more time aloft gathering data.
