Standardised & Field-worthy Platform

All the X models have the same basic platform:

  • Light-weight (1.4kg), balanced, ergonomic, free standing design
  • Detector protection – high speed steel shutter protects the detector between tests
    The X features a novel high speed shutter that only opens during testing.
    The shutter eliminates the single biggest cause of broken detectors —
    stray fingers, tools, or pieces of metal that strike the detector between tests.
  • Built-in High Resolution Camera

3rd Party Software Compatibility

Export your data to many 3rd party software packages. It’s currently done with mining related software packages from Leapfrog and IoGlobal.

Model X-300 X-50
Overview Premium XRF in terms of speed, precision, limit of detection and elemental range. Great basic analysis of transition and heavy metals.

Detector, Rate 20 mm² premium SDD, FAST DPP250k cps at > 90% live 7 mm² PIN Diode, Standard DPP, 15k cps, 50% live
Geochem, Soils Best performance on Rare-earths, RCRA and Priority Pollutant metals due to premium detector and high rates. Same element suite as the X-100, but with older PiN diode detector technology. Test times will be much longer to achieve same precision as X-100, but X-50 platform lower priced.
